Job Summary
This position provides supervisory leadership for all facets of audio production associated with television programming produced by KUED, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance to meet the technical production values of the station.
Qualifications
Eight years progressively responsible professional experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), including two years experience in electronic maintenance, preferably in broadcast engineering. Demonstrated communication and organizational skills and a commitment to excellent customer service are also required. Experience with maintenance and repair of audio equipment and an ability to lift up to fifty pounds is strongly preferred.
Four years audio experience and knowledge of microphones, mixers, field and studio techniques, booming techniques, and familiarity with mixing procedures is preferred. Two years supervisory experience preferred.

This position requires irregular scheduling, which may include night and weekend shifts, and travel to locations within Utah as well as out of state to support production activities. Must be able to provide quality audio services for these productions. The position and production responsibility may place an individual in settings of varied environment and comfort levels.
