Job Title: Projectionist

Job Summary

Assists with operating equipment for audio and visual presentations.

Qualifications

Six months of experience working with Macintosh and PC computers or equivalency required; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

Previous experience working with audio visual equipment is preferred.

This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Essential Functions

  1. Operates equipment including LCD projector, overhead document camera and computer.
  2. Manipulates software required to project presentations.
  3. Operates audio and video equipment such as televisions, VCR’s, slide projectors, simple audio equipment and lavalier microphones.
  4. Troubleshoots basic problems in audio visual equipment and computer or software setup.
  5. Seeks assistance from technical support staff in a timely manner when necessary.

    Problem Solving

    This position works independently and must be reliably available to support faculty.

    Comments

    This position should have the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 30 pounds and work effectively under high stress situations.
