Job Summary
Conceptualizes, articulates and implements artistic and fiscal policy for the University's professional theatre company, produces theatrical productions, and directs individual theatrical productions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Humanities or a related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus 5 years experience required. Effective communication skills, ability to deal with diverse creative personalities, and a commitment to provide excellent customer service are also required.
Three to five years as an Artistic Director, or Assistant in a non-profit professional theatre is highly desirable. A knowledge of operating procedures in technical and administrative areas, and access to a nation-wide talent pool is also important.
