Job Summary
Under general supervision, operates video cameras and related equipment in the production and editing of videos to support educational, research, grant, public relations or student services.
Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field plus two years experience in performing professional media-related services, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required.
This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
The incumbent will prioritize daily tasks and has the authority to make technical decisions as to visual and audio recording specifications, schedule editing sessions, determine the appropriate course of action for minor repairs and purchase supplies and parts under $500. Incumbent must be able to troubleshoot technical difficulties, function effectively in pressure situations and under time constraint, and coordinate staff to cover simultaneous production needs. S/he will refer to the manager for issues outside of program policy and procedure guidelines.
Comments
This position requires the ability to work long or unusual hours to accommodate a variety of schedules. Travel may also be required.
