Job Summary
Reviews manuscripts for consistency and style and makes suggestions for improvement, clarity, force and conciseness in keeping with University standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in liberal arts or a related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years professional editing experience of three or more scholarly manuscripts; demonstrated oral and written communications skills; and good typing and public relations skills required. A complete understanding of English syntax and all matters of correct grammar; and a commitment to providing excellent customer service also required.
