Job Summary
Supervises, oversees, operates and maintains printing services for the Academic Outreach and Continuing Education Office to provide high quality offset printed materials; oversees the Service Center which centralizes the purchase, storing and distribution of furniture, supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience that includes operation and maintenance of an offset press, plate maker, folding machine and copier or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required.
A background that includes purchasing and storeroom experience is strongly preferred.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
The incumbent has the authority to work with departments to solve their printing needs and establish deadlines for completed work. He/she also has the authority to purchase office products and furniture, as well as maintain service center equipment, i.e. offset presses, copy and folding machines, etc.
This is a single incumbent position, and he/she must be able to meet very stringent deadlines on a daily basis, which often times requires the schedule to be altered. Problems can arise when there are machine malfunctions and breakdowns. The incumbent must also seek the "best buy" when making purchases, and must ensure sufficient inventory to meet the needs of the department.
