Job Summary
Acts as a working crew leader for employees assigned to moving projects. Determines equipment and manpower necessary. Assigns and inspects each job upon completion.
Qualifications
A valid Utah's Commercial Drivers License; three years previous transportation and moving experience with large moving equipment; demonstrated oral and written communications skills; and customer service skills to deal effectively with a variety of people required. Previous supervisory experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) preferred.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
The incumbent has the authority to prioritize and make assignments to subordinates and determines when to call in employees to work during times of inclement weather. He/she supervises 8 full-time non-exempt employees.
Problems encountered in this position include calling subordinates for snow removal during the middle of the night; and repairing parking lots and roads when school is in session and the lots are full.
Comments
This position requires that the incumbent periodically work irregular hours on special assignments and sometimes during adverse weather conditions.
