Job Summary
Designs, sizes, and produces signs for the University to notify people of buildings, room numbers, restroom locations, etc and to assist in enforcement of the law such as no smoking, no parking, handicap parking, etc.
Qualifications
Three years professional painting experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years of sign making experience using computer programs and engraving equipment; demonstrated customer services skills; and oral and written communications skills required.

The incumbent must be familiar with safety practices and procedures due to exposure to certain hazardous conditions and situations, such as explosive and flammable paints and thinners, and work on tall ladders or high scaffolding.
The incumbent must be well versed in the use of a personal computer, Dahlgren 300 Engraver, Design Cad 2 D Grafix Maker, Gerber Signer Vinyl Letter Cutting Machine.
