Job Summary
Supervises and coordinates the landscape maintenance activities and responsibilities in the assigned area by directing the duties that promote the best possible appearance of the campus grounds.
Qualifications
An Associate's degree in a related field and two years experience related to the area of assignment or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); a valid Utah Driver's license; and a Utah Pesticide Applicator's license required.
Dependent upon area of assignment, a Utah Commercial Driver's License class B may be required.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
Problems the incumbent may encounter include proper scheduling of fertilization and irrigation so as to minimize disruption to campus activities; irrigation troubleshooting and repairs; and coordinating the staffing assignments to meet the department schedule.
Comments
Related Associate's degrees would be Horticulture, Greenhouse Production, and Turf Grass Management.
Depending upon area of assignment, completion of a two-year apprenticeship program may be substituted for the Associate's degree.
