Job Summary
Assists the Director and Licensing Manager in reviewing incoming inventions and marketing them to industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years full-time experience; demonstrated communication and human relations skills; and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required.
A Master's degree preferred.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
The incumbent is responsible for the efficient maintenance of technology records and files. He/she interacts with faculty and industry to ensure the technologies are marketed to appropriate individuals and companies.
This position determines that the marketing efforts are appropriate and recommends and implements methods to overcome any existing record-keeping and reporting requirements.
The incumbent does not have budgetary responsibility, but is responsible in part for the administration of the technology disclosed to the Technology Transfer office.
