Job Summary
Coordinates and oversees all aspects of training within the Home Dialysis Training Center. Develops curricula and accountability materials. Selects and supervises instructors and students. Coordinates clinical and academic training. Evaluates the Dialysis Instructor Training program and the Paid Home Dialysis Assistant Study, the training of partners and nursing staff.
Qualifications
Current LPN licensure in the state of Utah and one year experience as an LPN; or a Bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); or have served as a CEO of a Dialysis facility prior to the final institution of regulations governing facilities effective 1976; and knowledge of dialysis procedures and techniques required.
RN licensure is perferred.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work. Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.

The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures manual.
