Job Summary
Serves as a technician in the field of industrial hygiene or occupational safety. Responsibilities for compliance auditing, sampling and performing work place health and safety surveys. Identifies unsafe or unhealthy situations or practices to the assigned specialist team.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) in a science or research laboratory environment required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Ability to present to small or large groups of people. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
A current Driver’s License may be required.

Comments
The incumbent may be required to wear personal protective equipment including respiratory protection for protection against potentially hazardous environments.
Incumbent will usually work normal work days but unusual work shifts including nights and weekends may be required.
