Job Summary
Coordinates all enforcement, shuttle, pay lot, front office, maintenance, and special event activities and makes decisions in the absence of area Supervisors. Assistant Supervisors work a variety of hours which may require overtime assignments.
Qualifications
Three years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), this includes one year of supervisory experience; the ability to pass a background review, read and write English, handle high stress and crisis situations; the ability to ensure integrity of revenue control systems. Must have a commitment to provide excellent customer services and have a valid Utah driver’s license, and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Depending on the area of assignment, the ability to obtain a class “B” commercial drivers license with passenger and air brake endorsements within six months of hire, demonstrate knowledge of general maintenance and related tools (ability to lift up to 75 lbs.), patrol parking areas on bike for eight hours, or direct and coordinate the University transit system may also be required.
