Supervises, coordinates and organizes the day to day operations of staff in the assigned area. Assesses, develops and maintains an ongoing training program for department staff to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws.
Four years parking services, or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years supervisory experience; a knowledge of Federal and/or state and local laws as they pertain to the area of assignment; a valid Utah driver’s license; and proof of insurability required. Basic computer skills and demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills also required.
Dependent upon area of assignment, a valid Utah class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and airbrake endorsement may be required upon hire or within six months of hire and mandatory submission to a DOT Drug Alcohol Test may be required.

Make recommendations on budget and expenditures for assigned area. Provide continuous training to maintain quality skills and service for assigned area. All decisions are based on parking services policy and operational bulletins, University policy and procedures, federal and state laws, codes and regulations as they apply to area of assignment.
Depending upon area of assignment, this position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. They may be required to work outdoors in all types of weather.
