Job Summary
Provides support in text, educational supplies, and general merchandise areas by overseeing, organizing, supervising, coordinating and assisting in the delivery of services.
Qualifications
Three years of retail sales experience with one year of experience supervising employees and buying merchandise; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
Associate’s degree in Business, or a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), or two years of related college work along with the above experience requirements is preferred.
This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
The incumbent has the authority to determine merchandise needs and place orders. He/she may give input in the preparation of the annual budget.
Challenges for the incumbent include resolving problems found when the wrong merchandise, the wrong amount or defective merchandise is received or when a cost difference between the amounts quoted by the vendors and the amounts charged by the vendors is found.
