Job Summary
Assists in the preparation of operating budgets. Develops, analyzes, and presents timely and accurate data and information to be used in fiscal planning, budget decision making, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years of related experience; basic understanding of accounting principles, analytical techniques, and statistical methods; working knowledge of spreadsheet applications; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
A familiarity with maintaining and updating computerized databases and experience in higher education financial areas is preferred.
