Job Summary
Coordinates human resources activities between the Division of Human Resources and Department administration. Supervises support staff. Assists with the planning and management of the payroll budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Communications or a related field that has an emphasis in human resources plus two years full-time human resources experience in a functional area such as recruitment, compensation or benefits or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Ability to effectively address and resolve complex situations and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
This position has no responsibility for providing patient care.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
In conjunction with the Division of Human Resources, the incumbent has the authority to advise department supervisors regarding employee hiring, training, disciplining and compensation. Incumbents also have the authority to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures that are consistent with Division of Human Resources and University policies.
