Job Title: Membership Assistant

Job Summary

Assists in the development and enlargement of a membership data base through the use of fund drives, phonothons, direct mail campaigns etc. Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual, and post fund drive reports.

Qualifications

Two years related sales/marketing experience, or equivalency; demonstrated oral and written communications skills; and a commitment to providing excellent customer service required. Knowledge of data base management and report generation is strongly preferred.

Essential Functions

  1. Maintains ongoing members' files including entering donations and updating records.
  2. Recruits and oversees volunteers as needed for each campaign or fund drive.
  3. Provides timely reports including monthly, quarterly, annual, and post fund drive activities.
  4. Maintains installment and renewal activities.
  5. Assists in direct mail campaigns.
  6. May handle the distribution of premiums for current fund drive.
  7. May prepare training manuals and materials for use by the volunteers during the event.
  8. May prepare evaluation sheets, mail forms, sorts calling cards, assists in the preparation of payroll forms etc.

Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking. 

Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
