Job Summary

Temporary Beer Servers will support concessions operations at Rice Eccles Stadium and Jon M Huntsman Center during concerts and special events. This position is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all applicable local laws and university policies regarding alcohol sales and service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid alcohol server certification/license (as required by state law).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled per event needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food & beverage service, bartending, or stadium/event concessions preferred.
• Experience working in a stadium, arena, or large event venue.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.

• Process payments efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, recognizing signs of overconsumption and refusing service when necessary.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume setting, handling large crowds and long lines.
• Assist with setup, stocking, and closing duties as needed.
• Comply with all workplace safety policies and stadium event protocols.
