Job Summary
The role of the Deputy Chief Wellness Officer is to facilitate transformation of University of Utah Health (UUH) to a thriving, resilient and vibrant community. This position accomplishes this call in four primary ways: 1) directing the Resiliency Center; 2) facilitate organizational change by leading specific institutional initiatives; 3) engaging in research on well-being intervention in academic medical centers and university settings; and 4) carry out faculty responsibilities (clinical, educational and/or research) that align with workforce well-being. Each of these four areas are further described below. The Deputy Chief Wellness Officer works closely with the Chief Wellness Officer, the Osher Center for Integrative Health (OCIH) Administrative Director, the Resiliency Center Leadership Team and with key collaborators in research and organizational change across the University of Utah. They serve as a part of the Osher Center for Integrative Health Executive Committee.
