Job Summary
Reporting to the VP for Research with additional reporting to the President, the Chief Innovation Officer is responsible for managing, overseeing and/or coordinating University stakeholders for all aspects of technology transfer, intellectual property management, licensing, new venture creation and equity management, seed funding, economic development, corporate engagement (including sponsored research, workforce development, philanthropy and joint ventures), business incubators and accelerators, venture funds, ecosystem development and related activities.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree plus 8 years’ related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
