Job Summary

Develops evaluation plans and instruments, collects and analyzes data to effectively evaluate the department’s programs. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Education, Public Health, or a related area, or equivalency; plus 2 years related experience. Demonstrated effective communications skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Requires the ability to use basic statistical and qualitative methods to analyze, interpret, and report on data. Strong attention to detail and good observation skills.

Essential Functions

  1. Creates and executes procedures to collect, monitor and analyze data on the strengths and weaknesses of departmental programs as well as customer and participant satisfaction.
  2. Participates in the design and development of data collection and program evaluation instruments.
  3. Interfaces with stakeholders and program participants.
  4. May conduct interviews, focus groups and observations.
  5. May create and administer in-person or online surveys or assessments.
  6. Assists in the preparation of reports and manuscripts.
