Job Summary

Facilitates the development and expansion of internships for assigned college. Acts as the college’s primary contact for internship coordination and serves as internship resource in University-wide committees.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related area and two years of related experience, or equivalency, required.

Essential Functions

  1. Serves as the college lead for internship programs by acting as liaison to students, college administration, departments, employers, and campus partners.
  2. Educates internal and external stakeholders about intern recruitment strategies and the creation of appropriate internship positions.
  3. Participates in University-wide committees to coordinate on best practices, campus-wide internship initiatives, legal issues, and campus internship culture.
  4. Utilizes relevant education tools to engage with employers, post internship opportunities, and track internship participation.
  5. Collects, maintains, and analyzes internship participation data and works to expand internship tracking efforts.
  6. Monitors quality and effectiveness of internship initiatives and researches improvement methods.
