Job Title: Manager, Value Analysis

Job Summary

This position manages the operations and strategic planning of staffing, customer/patient services, and financial management for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all aspects of the Value Analysis department. In support of the organization's goals and mission, the incumbent supports the Value Analysis Director in leading the functions of their area and acts as a catalyst between the department and its customers, and staff, to ensure continuity and quality of service.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and four years of progressively more responsible management experience required.

Essential Functions

  1. Hiring, training, developing, and communicating with staff.
  2. Responsible for developing, monitoring and achieving budget goals.
  3. Responsible for patient satisfaction scores within assigned area(s).
  4. Responsible for upholding PROMISE standards of direct reports and team members.
  5. Responsible for achieve quality goals for assigned area(s).
  6. Manages and promotes continuous process improvements in assigned area(s).
  7. Responsible for providing staff feedback on performance, including on-time appraisals and coaching.
  8. Responsible for handling conflicts in a proactive manner and reaching a resolution in a timely manner.
  9. Forms positive relationships with staff, peers, and senior leadership to support the mission, vision, values, and performance standards of the organization.
  10. Actively engages staff with updates and news as well as involving staff in decisions and work teams.
  11. Provides feedback and recognition when appropriate.
