Job Summary

Assists guests with luggage, provides shuttle services to area locations and serves as concierge for the hotel.

Qualifications

A valid Utah Driver’s License is required.

Customer service experience and ability to communicate effectively in English preferred.

Essential Functions

  1.        Transports guests to and from hotel and designated locations in University-owned minivan.
  2.        Handles luggage for guests upon arrival or departure and stores luggage as needed.
  3.        Handles shipping/receiving of internal and external packages.
  4.        Acts as a guest liaison by making travel arrangements, dining reservations, or procuring tickets.
           Offers suggestions for local attractions or areas of interest.
  5.        Stocks and maintains lobby convenience store.
  6.        Other duties as assigned.

This position must be able to prioritize and change course of action quickly. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work as a part of a team.

Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required

Often: Outdoor Environment

Seldom: Office environment, Noise, Vibration.

Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required

Nearly Continuously: Talking.

Often: Sitting, Repetitive foot motion, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs. 

Seldom: Repetitive hand motion, twisting, climbing, balancing, shoveling, lifting over 50 lbs.
