Under general supervision; receives and dispatches routine and emergency calls for police, medical and other Public Safety Agencies as designated.

Preforms entry-level emergency communications and dispatch duties, receives and coordinates routine and emergency requests for the Public Safety Department. Dispatches Patrol Officers, Security Officers to calls of service, relays UCJIS, driver license, warrant and other information. Retrieves and enters information into the computer system, learns to operate the telephone system, learns to multitask and operate multiple departments on the radio channels and use other departmental office equipment. And, other duties as assigned.
