Job Summary
The Director of Treasury Services is a senior-level executive with management responsibility for development and implementation of University treasury functions. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Director of Treasury Services reports to the University's Chief Financial Officer, who reports to the President.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); and eight years of progressively more responsible management experience.
Preferences Include: Master’s degree and 10 years of progressively more responsible financial management experience. Certification as a CPA. Experience in a college or university environment.

Essential Functions
1. Lead treasury services department (recruit, train, supervise, develop and evaluate staff).2. Direct the development and revision of financial policies for working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange, and interest risk management.3. Implement University Internal Bank Program, including policies and procedures.4. Develop, implement an internal loan policy and administer the loan program.5. Assist in establishing an Internal Loan Credit Committee and act as the link between departments and committee.6. Manage the University Commercial Paper (CP) program including remarketing.7. Act as liaison to third party debt holders and rating agencies.8. Ensure compliance with debt provisions.9. Create and maintain cash projections to determine required cash reserves.10. Support and participate in University?s strategic planning.11. Analyze efficiency of capital use.12. Analyze utilization and viability of assets use.13. Coordinate with Facilities Management to determine financing needs of future construction projects and assess project viability.14. Serve as administrative liaison to University global operations
