Job Summary
Directs the operations and strategic planning of Information Technology activities and services and financial management in supporting the University of Utah’s goals and mission. Acts as a catalyst between departments, faculty, physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of service. Establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. Analyzes the needs of different departments and determines ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related computer science, Business Administration, or related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); eight years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communications skills required.
