Job Summary
Develops, implements, administers, and maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues. Works with application team to design Oracle database objects that meets business requirements and production standards. This requires obtaining application knowledge while working with architects, data modelers, and application developers. Ensures the performance of the databases and application code from development to production. Installs and migrates object changes through multiple test environments and production. Works on complex projects. Develops and implements database recovery plans and procedures. Installs, upgrades and tests complex database software. Works in multiple projects simultaneously which spans multiple applications releases.
Qualifications
Require a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
