Job Summary
Supervises employees of the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures proper functioning of the organization's information systems and makes upgrades as necessary. Helps business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs. Follows appropriate programming procedures. Considered a working supervisor with minimal authority for personnel actions.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) in area of specialty.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
