Job Title: Skills Trainer, Inst. Sys

Job Summary

Conducts training of institutional systems based on existing curriculum and lesson plans. Provides floor support to system users, assessing staff skills using the system. Provides follow up training tailored to individual staff needs. Monitors the effectiveness of the training program.

Qualifications

Two years experience in a training or customer support capacity.Demonstrated computer, organization, human relation and effective verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to manage time and work independently.

This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

Essential Functions

  1. Conducts training of institutional systems and related processes.
  2. Assists in the creation or updating of training materials.
  3. Identifies and assesses employee skill level and training needs.
  4. Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and provides meaningful feedback to curriculum developers and managers.
  5. Maintains department statistics and other training data; creates training reports as needed.

Representative challenges of this position include accurately evaluating employee needs to deliver effective training or adjust training methods.
