Job Summary
Promotes the use of technology based resources in learning and teaching and provides consultation, instruction, and assistance to faculty, students, and staff related to the editing, design, production, and instructional technology of curriculum development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) plus 2-4 years experience, preferably in an online education environment; knowledge of learning theory with the ability to apply the theory into practice; excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills; familiarity with a variety of software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office, and DVD Authoring tools; strong editing skills; ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
Master’s degree in a related field may be preferred
