Job Summary
This position coordinates the organization of an event in a theater, auditorium, stadium etc. The incumbent is responsible for ticket-taking and greeting and directing guests.
Qualifications
Applicants must have successfully completed 1 year of education above the high school level or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Essential Functions
1. Ensures all guests are greeted and seated in an efficient and timely manner
2. Maintains cleanliness of showroom and arranges table and chairs appropriately for each event
3. Informs guests of all promotions and contests
4. Collects admission tickets and passes from patrons at entertainment events
5. Directs and/or escorts patrons to their seats
6. Aids the audience by moving them toward the proper location for their seats
Comments
The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures manual.
