Job Summary

Ensures safe condition and operation of electrically powered equipment through testing and inspection. Troubleshoots and repairs general electronic equipment.

Qualifications

Two years vocational and electronic training with an emphasis on basic electronic systems and equipment or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Essential Functions

1. Troubleshoots, repairs, assembles and maintains general electronic equipment.
2. Maintains maintenance logs.
3. Recommends improvements to equipment, procedures and schedules.
4. Assists other employees with the maintenance and operation of assignments.

Problem Solving

This position independently identifies problems and recommends solutions to supervisor. Challenges include coordination of efforts with customer, supervisor and what is feasible.
