Job Summary
Designs, installs, maintains and repairs a wide variety of electronic and digital equipment.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus two years experience in audio systems or industrial instrumentation required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Essential Functions
Problem Solving
This position has the authority to prioritize workload to best meet the needs of the shop and make on the spot decisions to resolve system or equipment failure.
Challenges encountered include diagnostic assessment and repairs to electronic systems and equipment without schematics; coordinating with multiple parties to achieve the proper sound quality for concerts and working with departments to assess their needs and the subsequent development of a plan to fulfill their needs.
