Job Summary
Prevents, diagnoses, treats, and rehabilitates all injuries sustained in athletic activities. Ensures athletes receive proper care while participating in various sports, referring serious injuries for more extensive medical care.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); one year of experience as an athletic trainer; and demonstrated effective communication and human relation skills.
National Athletic Trainers Association (N.A.T.A.) certification preferred.
