Job Summary
Develops and conducts training programs, orientation, and continuing education for new and current employees specific to a department or function. Assesses training needs of staff and monitors the effectiveness of the training program.
Qualifications
Six years of progressively more responsible experience in a related area, including one year as a trainer or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); completion of the hospital provided supervisory training within one year of employment; and demonstrated computer, organization, human relation, and effective communication skills required.
This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.
