Functions as an assistant to a faculty physician/s by performing and overseeing both office responsibilities and clinic-related duties.
Four years office experience; at least two years preferably in a medical setting, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); and demonstrated organizational, human relations, and effective communication skills required.
A typing speed of 40 wpm and completion of a medical terminology course may be required in some departments.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking, standing, sitting.
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
