Job Summary

Designs and develops promotional materials and publications.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Graphic Art, or related area, or equivalency; demonstrated knowledge of printing methods and desktop publishing; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.

This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

Essential Functions

  1. Establish time lines for the development, draft review and production of printing projects. Projects include patient and staff educational materials, departmental newsletters, brochures, flyers and marketing materials.
  2. Provides specifications for printing projects to printers to obtain bids for printing services.
  3. Conceives, designs, develops and produces publications and related art work.
  4. Assists the supervisor and works with planning groups to establish parameters for publications and marketing materials.
  5. Coordinates and edits the department newsletters.
  6. Conducts and coordinates photography sessions.

Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.
