Job Summary

Perform research and analysis in one or more functional areas within the Division of Human Resources.  Capture, analyze, and report on HR trends, business processes, market data, and/or other information.  Administer, coordinate, and help facilitate various projects, programs, and initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalency; two years of progressively more responsible experience in HR; analyzing, presenting data, and developing customer relations.
  • Demonstrated computer (MS Office: Excel/ Word/ Outlook), human relations, and effective communication skills required.

Essential Functions

  1. Provides professional analytical support work. 
  2. Collects, studies, analyzes, and interprets various forms of HR data.  Performs studies and conducts research.  
  3. Reviews and interprets policies, practices, and procedures and makes recommendations. 
  4. Consults with customers and business partners on projects. 
  5. Ensures data quality and usefulness.  Prepares and presents reports. 
  6. Tracks and evaluates trends and developments in assigned functional area(s).
  7. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. 
  8. Facilitates meetings, group discussions, and department projects. 
  9. Assists in the rollout and implementation of HR programs. 
  10. May participate on various committees.
