Job Summary
The System Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a member of the health sciences executive team and will lead the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy that fuels system growth, deepens consumer and patient engagement, strengthens internal and external alignment, and enhances the University of Utah Health brand across local, regional, and national audiences.
The CMO will operate with high visibility and influence across the enterprise—including regular collaboration with the SVP/CEO, U Health Board, System Chiefs, SVP Cabinet, Deans, and Senior Leadership across missions. This role is a strategic and cross-functional partner to Communications, Advancement, Human Resources, Departments, Clinical Enterprise, Institutional Partners, National Organizations, Education, Research, and Community Engagement Missions.
Brings a unique balance of brand leadership and strategic marketing, with the ability to inspire audiences, translate insights into action, and drive measurable enterprise-wide impact in alignment with the mission of an academic health system.
