Job Summary

Responsible for marketing imaging services to internal and external customers. Collects satisfaction data from referring providers and utilizes the feedback to specifically address access and service problems.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in a related field, or equivalency plus two years of related experience required. Knowledge of imaging procedures, terminology, and procedures is also required. Imaging Technologist experience preferred.

This position requires a sound knowledge of clinical business operations and practices and a strong clinical background. Demonstrated human relation and effective written and verbal communication skills are also required.

Essential Functions

  1. Implements strategies for the promotion and expansion of outpatient imaging services for specific target groups, including physician’s offices, institutions, and businesses.
  2. Investigates and attends to service or access complaints and makes recommendations for improvements.
  3. Implements educational programs for physician office and identifies ways to improve and simplify access to radiology services.
  4. Demonstrates positive interpersonal and communication skills to achieve excellent results.
  5. Maintains a solid understanding of technical and procedural aspects of imaging procedures.
  6. Markets new and existing imaging services to physicians.
  7. Builds and maintains professional relationships with physicians both internal and external to the University.
  8. Analyzes and maintains information related to referral patterns.
  9. Administers surveys to referring providers and patients.
  10. Monitors telephone response time and etiquette and addresses related issues.
