WellU Participation Program Requirements
New Employees hired January 1, 2017 through March 31, 2017, must complete the General Health Assessment (GHA) to participate and receive the discount for the remainder of the current Plan Year. To participate and receive the discount for the upcoming Plan Year beginning July 1, 2017, an annual physical exam and dental exam and cleaning is required on or by June 30, 2017. New Employees hired April 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017, must complete the GHA to participate and receive the discount for the remainder of the current Plan Year, as well as the next Plan Year (through June 30, 2018). The discount for the current and/or 2018 Plan Year will begin when we are notified by Regence that the GHA has been completed. Reports are received monthly-there will be a delay of up to four pay periods for the discount to be applied. Discounts are not retroactive. You can complete your General Health Assessment here
Set up an account with Regence BlueCross BlueShield. Use the information on your health plan ID card and follow these steps:
- Go to Regence.com
- Click "Sign In" at the top of the page
- Click "Register" under the User Name box
- Complete the Registration Information fields. The name, member and group numbers must match your health plan ID card.
Take the confidential General Health Assessment.
- Log in to Regence.com
- Click the Wellness Tools link in the bottom center of the page.
- Complete the required fields to "Save a Profile"
- Click on Know Your Health Status under the "Take Action Now" section to get started on the health questionnaire.
Once you've completed the GHA, the University will be notified that you have completed the assessment. (The University will not receive your confidential answers.) Once the University is notified of your completion, your discount will begin (reports are provided by Regence on a monthly basis). You may have a delay in receiving the discount of up to four pay periods (discount is not retroactive).
An employee's spouse should create their own account if they wish to complete the GHA.
