Organizations strive to create environments that are fair, respectful and abide by legal requirements. It is not always easy to ensure that people behave according to ethical standards. People can fear retaliation, causing harm to someone else, or not be sure what the appropriate steps are for reporting unethical behavior. This workshop is designed to help you:
Define what it means to be ethical as an employee of the University of Utah.
Identify ethics philosophies and participate in a discussion about different ethical styles.
Discuss how to apply ethics principles at work through participation in case studies.
Learn processes and resources for dealing with ethical and legal issues.
NOTE: If class is full, please contact Human Resources at 585-2300 to be placed on a waiting list.
