Management Essentials Series

Manager Essentials is designed for managers and future managers.  The workshops offer a broad base of management expertise that will support supervisors in creating a productive environment and personal career progression. 

A Certificate of Completion is offered for those who complete the one required workshop, seven additional Management Essentials workshops, plus eight online Management Essentials modules within a two year period.

These Manager Essentials online modules are designed to reinforce classroom learning and to serve as a just-in-time resource for managers. These are accessed through eduCAT.

How to access your eModule through eduCAT:

ENROLL

1. Go to http://www.educat.utah.edu.
2. Log in with your CIS username and password.
3. Select E-learning from the top menu bar.
4. Choose the Self Enroll dropdown menu item.
5. Select the radio button – Your entire organization (should be the default).
6. Locate the module you want to enroll in.
7. Click Enroll Now.
8. Select All Lessons.
9. Click Add Lessons.
10. A message will display “Assignment process is completed.”

1. Log into eduCAT with your CIS username and password (if already logged in skip this step)
2. Select E-learning from the top menu bar.
3. Select my E-learning lessons from the dropdown menu
4. Choose the Assignments All tab
5. Click the eModule you want to view.
6. A box will open.
   
7. Click on Click Here To Start.
