Human Resources Skills Workshops

The Understanding Human Resources (HR) series is designed to help you know your HR resources and contacts, prepare you to deal effectively with HR issues, and to support you as a manager or other staff member who handles HR processes for your department.  You will learn about University policies and procedures, the Office of Equal Opportunity, formal discipline processes, how to interview and hire, the specifics and possible impacts of the FMLA, and more. 

A Certificate of Completion is offered for those who complete all five Understanding Human Resources workshops within a two year period.
