Design

Spec Design : Custom Defaulting Tables – 99% Complete
An update was made to this spec to include a new table based off of need from the New Hire spec. One more table will be added to the spec at this time (to help route to correct Service Teams) and the latest spec will then be sent to the team, including those who signed off.

Spec Design : Change of Employment Status – 98% Complete
Received feedback on this spec – a couple changes will be made and the latest spec will be distributed to the team.

Spec Design : New Hire Form – 83% Complete
A lot of movement was made on this design. The field/page definitions have been completed. Prior to sending this out as a first iteration for approval, field destinations need to be added to the document.

Development

GT Department Head role was created for use in approval workflow
The default approval rule set was created. This is the approval flow that goes from Payroll Reporter to Department Head to the HR Service Teams.
Termination conditions were updated to improve routing

Planned for Next Period

  • Spec Design –
    • Updates to the Custom Defaulting Tables spec and the Change of Employment Status spec will be made and then distributed.
    • The newhire spec will sent out for approval.
    • We will dig into the Data Change spec or the Approval Rule Set
    • Data around approval paths for various departments has been gathered by the HRIS team. We will review these and identify the various approval rules sets that will need to be built as well as the conditions that will trigger them
  • Development –
    • We will continue to create new roles, as we identify them
    • We will continue to create new approval paths and conditions as they are defined
  • Testing –
    • Thorough testing of the Termination transaction – we want to get this refined for a demo on the week of the 14th
    • Thorough testing of the Search Match functionality for the Hire transaction – this will also be included in the demo on the week of the 14th
    • We will continue to create new approval paths and conditions as they are defined
  • Meetings, Administrative, Research, etc. –
    • A meeting has been set up for January 17 from 1:30 to 3:30 in the Large Training Room on Wakara. The primary focus of this meeting will be to demo the new terminations ePAF.
    • A meeting will be held mid-week to review and approve the Project Plan
    • Create and post the issue log
    • Move files to the Google Group drive
