RESEARCH/GENERAL
¡ Specs – All specs are completed with the exception of the conditions for the approval routings. These pieces should be completed early in the next week. There may be a table added to aid in the conditional routing (around job code – may be able to utilize a table that was already created).
¡ Development – Forms have all been developed and now need testing and tweaking, which will occur through this test phase and the next one.
o Development continuing for alternate approver selection.
o Issue log being used to note problems or changes needed in forms.
o Development around department routing (routing to Org Head 1 and Org Head 2, etc) has been completed. This can now be tested.
o I-9 being placed in environment for testing
o Payroll SQR modified to pause ePAF transactions (just the save piece, not the approval routing) during payroll and to un-pause after confirm.
¡ Mid-stacks – there was a lot of conversation through the week around how to handle mid-stack transactions. (Transactions which must be inserted before an existing transaction in an employee’s history. For example, a retro termination is sometimes done and must be inserted prior to a distribution change that was already entered.)
o Original Mid-stack logic left holes that needed to be addressed
o In addressing the holes, we realized that a very robust approach would be needed in order to cover every situation identified
o We have pulled back the idea to cover basic scenarios. Additional work can be done in future enhancements to make the logic robust and cover all situations.
¡ Testing Discoveries – As forms are being tested and issues are identified, they are tracked in the UU_Tracking_Log. See log for details around all testing issues.
o Changed all email addresses in HRWILD to point to uuepaf@gmail.com to ensure no users outside of the project group get testing emails
o In DEV and Test, we will only change email addresses for those users who are found on UU_HR_ROLE_DEPT
o During training, the email script for DEV and Test will be used, but it will need to be run daily.
