Project Status Report Strategy

  • Project Manager and Project Lead are currently finalizing detailed project plan. This plan will serve as the official project plan.
  • A Project Plan Review will be held the week of 1/7/08 to finalize the project plan baseline. All progress will be evaluated against this plan.
  • Weekly project task/milestone meetings are being held to determine progress against schedule. This meeting will allow us to assess our adherence to our published schedule.
  • Every two weeks a vendor meeting is being held to determine engagement effectiveness and adjust course as needed. This meeting will validate project and vendor effectiveness. Any problems/concerns will be discussed and action plans developed as necessary. Bi-weekly consulting payment will be based on this meeting.
  • Project status will be updated at least weekly on this site (the intent is to publish significant status as it develops). Stakeholders, sponsors, etc will be able to view status in real-time. A bi-weekly email will be sent out to invite stakeholders to review status.
