What is ePAF?

ePAF or e-PAF [e-pahf] n.

  • A system for submitting Electronic Personnel Action Forms online.
  • The automated replacement for the manual paper PAN process

What are some of ePAF's functions?

  • Hire an Employee eForm
  • Edit Existing Job eForm
  • Change Employment Status eForm
  • Update Employee Personal Data eForm
  • Submit a Manual Request eForm (for correction requests)
  • Applicant interface (prepopulates applicant data on the hiring form)
  • Automates page 2 of the PAN for Faculty
  • Routes full Faculty Appointment Packet
  • Optionally include scanned and desktop document attachments
  • Route approvals automatically

Who can use ePAF?

University Administrative Policy 3-7

All users must follow Policy 3-003: Authorizations and Approvals Required for Financial Transactions when delegating and approving ePAF's. The ePAF system has been defined in accordance with PPM 3-7 which dictates who is authorized to approve ePAF's. The policy is undergoing some editorial changes to reflect the ePAF roles.
